Design and concept. Sand cast aluminum numbers are individually made and polished to four of my specifically selected font designs. Laser cut hands of the clock are made from thin sheets of intricately cut steel which house a quartz, high torque continuous sweep mechanism. Place the cast recycled aluminum numbers as you like; they screw directly into the wall. Hang the hands and movement in the center to create a modern timepiece that belongs in any room. Watching the clock becomes a keen way to spend time.

Design and concept. The hanging drop terrariums are blown without the use of a mold, creating large glass bubbles that are flattened and formed to shape. A heavy woven jute rope enters the top opening and is knotted for hanging. Each vessel is unique in shape, typified by irregularities such as bubbles, dimples, flow and rippling.

Design, packaging and concept. These remarkably thin drinking glasses are individually hand blown and cut. My original inspiration derived from the head of an artichoke. This series of 5 graduated glasses appear to be extremely delicate but can be handled with the usual care as other glassware. The set includes a Compote, Tumbler, water, Juice and champagne glass. Dishwasher safe but with all glassware, treat it gently. The entire set is nested inside of a Japanese inspired gift box.

Each piece is forged from leaf springs collected from salvaged vehicles and fashioned into novelty bottle openers representing folk narratives of the Hare, Panther, Lion, Tiger and Boar. The bottle openers incorporate a bottle claw along the back line of the animal to pop a bottle cap. Each piece is meticulously hand-engraved to capture the details of the animal’s spirit.

Design, concept and rendering. Growlers, originally used as vessels for beer, have been popularized by the boom in specialty draft beers. The growler and four cups are crafted from gray stoneware that is left exposed on the bottom of each piece for tactility and aesthetics. A rich creamy glaze is applied on the interior and exterior. Design, fabrication and concept. The faceted marble and rosewood collection presents a new angle for serving cheese and other festive fare. The stone boards are hand-cut from alluring white Agaria marble much the way gemstones are cut. The marble has a soft honed matte finish, featuring gem like facets and beveled edges that highlight the gray striations and sparkling nuance of the stone. The rosewood is hand buffed to a satin oiled finish. The entire collection offers two sizes of boards in both materials, set of two tealight holders and set of three cheese tools with perfectly cut faceted handles and stainless steel blades.

Design and concept. A set of four Grappa bottles accompanied by a set of tumbler drinking glasses is perfect for entertaining a party. Each piece is Mouth blown from Borosilicate glass and finished with a natural cork stopper. A mold is used in the process to allow the glass to form a deep punt on the bottom to act as a recessed thumb hole for holding the bottle with one hand. Borosilicate is a low-melting-point glass made from a mixture of silica and boric oxide, similar to Pyrex lab glass with durable molecular properties to ensure many years of use.

Design, graphics and packaging. When making certain drinks, the finest bartenders mash or muddle fruits, herbs or spices in the bottom of glasses to release their flavors fully. Vietnamese hardwood from the fast growing Longan fruit trees is hand carved and smoothed into shape. A special packaging and graphic was created and executed for distribution at Anthropologie.

Design. The gray marble serving collection consists of a s/2 cutting boards and a nesting set of nibble bowls. Beautiful striations found in the marble are signs of selected quality and will differ slightly from piece to piece. Each marble item is cut and honed to a matte finish. The stylistic shapes add a contemporary style to any décor.

Design and concept. Coil and curve the serpentine bud vase down a long dining table and fill it with your own garden blooms for an interesting fresh cut centerpiece. A sinuous row of glass bottles fits into a hinged structure of darkened zinc metal brackets that allow the vase to be twisted any way you like.

Design and concept. These eye-catching faceted gem-shaped planters are finely cast from concrete with thin wall construction for strength without excessive weight. Two heights of planters look great on a table or shelf or when paired with the dark zinc phosphate-finished wire plant stands which elevate your bloom and foliage. Preliminary studies for this project included casting and mockups.
